Camping residential
The Year 4 camping residential was an incredible weekend away, brimming with excitement and adventure. Throughout their time at the campsite, the children showcased remarkable shine values such as being supportive, inclusive and nurturing as well as embodying teamwork, respect, and enthusiasm during every activity.
The weekend was filled with thrilling experiences, including archery, where the youngsters aimed for accuracy, and a bouncy castle that brought relentless joy and laughter. In a highly engaging pirate quest, the children worked collaboratively to decipher a code, fostering a sense of camaraderie among them.
Furthermore, the much-anticipated Nerf gun wars against Mr Martin and Miss Wanstall provided a delightful mix of friendly competition and fun, culminating in a hilarious moment where the children could triumphantly hit Mr Martin with the Nerf guns at the end.
Evenings were spent roasting marshmallows over a crackling fire, accompanied by the singing of traditional camping songs. Overall, the Year 4 residential was a memorable experience that will be cherished by everyone involved.
