Gymnastics

This week in PE, the children explored a range of gymnastics rolls and movements, including the barrel roll, straddle roll, forward roll, backward roll, straight roll, the bridge and partner balances. After practising each skill safely and carefully, the class worked in small groups or pairs to combine these movements into their own creative routines. They focused on control, balance, and smooth transitions, before performing their routines confidently to the rest of the class. We were incredibly proud of their teamwork, creativity, and growing gymnastics skills!
