RE in Foxes
Fox Class have been learning about the parable of the Lost Sheep in RE this week. We thought about the deeper meaning of the parable and what it teaches Christians. We made artwork of the story.

Making Sliders
Fox Class have been exploring the slider mechanism in our DT topic push and pull. We made some moving pictures using the sliding mechanism templates. We were then inspired to create our own moving pictures!
The Golden Rule
Fox Class have been learning about the golden rule that many religions teach – treat others how you would like to be treated. We thought about how we could make sure we were following the golden rule in our classroom and decorated flowers to display in a golden rule garden.
Portraits and Poses!
Fox Class have been sketching each other in our art topic portraits and poses. We practised doing thumbnail sketches of our partner while they stood in different poses. Next we used the iPads to make digital line portraits from our sketches.
Fox Class Sports Day!
Fox Class had a great sports day. They tried their best in all the activities and had so much fun. They were so supportive to each other and cheered each other on all day. Well done foxes!
Circus Dances
In Fox Class we have been practising different circus movements in our dance lessons. We showed different poses, movements and balances to represent the different characters you might see in the circus. We put together a performance showing different pathways and levels.
Cut, Stitch and Join
Fox Class have been working hard in DT to design and make felt bag tags. We had to show resilience and perseverance with our sewing, but we didn’t give up and we were so happy with our final products!
Making Bird Feeders
Fox Class loved making fruit hoop bird feeders this week. We practised our instructional voice by making ‘How to’ videos as we made the bird feeders. We then wrote our instructions using our videos to help us. We have enjoyed watching the birds eat their fruit hoops!
Happy 100th Birthday David Attenborough!
Fox Class looked amazing today dressed as animals and explorers to celebrate David Attenborough’s 100th birthday. We enjoyed spending time outside, making animal inspired art, birthday cards and pic collages to celebrate the special day.
