Sporting competitions

Our children have opportunities throughout the year to represent their school in local and Trust-wide sports competitions as well as taking part in our annual Sports Day events. These experiences encourage teamwork, resilience, sportsmanship and healthy competition while helping children develop confidence, make new friendships and enjoy being active.

School Games Mark

We are proud to participate in the School Games Mark programme, a nationally recognised award that celebrates schools’ commitment to physical education, school sport and active lifestyles. Led by the Youth Sport Trust, the award recognises schools that provide high-quality sporting opportunities and encourage children to take part in competition, leadership and extra-curricular activities.

By working towards the School Games Mark, we continue to strengthen our sporting offer and provide a wide range of opportunities that help children develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and a lifelong enjoyment of being active. The programme aligns with our commitment to delivering enriching experiences that support the wellbeing and personal development of every child.

We currently hold the Gold Award for the 25/26 academic year!
